Dior by John Galliano from 2003 red lace lingerie set, comprising a delicate sheer lace top and matching garter belt. The rich red lace is characteristic of the provocative lingerie aesthetic of the year, with the top combining a structured balconette-style bust with a sheer floral lace body and scalloped lace edging.
The top has a deliberately relaxed babydoll silhouette and is made from soft, highly stretchy lace. It can be worn more loosely on its own or cinched closer to the body with the matching garter belt layered over it.
The lingerie top features transparent silicone shoulder straps with crystal-set hardware. The straps have developed a subtle red-to-transparent ombré effect, caused by color transfer from the red lace over time — a unique vintage characteristic of the piece.
The matching garter belt is finished with delicate lace, adjustable straps and the distinctive velvety Dior logo detail at the left side. It is in excellent condition.

No separate size or composition label is present on the top; the size is inferred from the original lingerie sizing and the matching garter belt.
Measurements, taken unstretched where applicable:
- Pit to pit: 35–39 cm / 13.8–15.4”
- Waist: 36–49 cm / 14.2–19.3”
Garter belt:
- Waist: 30–36 cm / 11.8–14.2”
- Widest point: 38–47 cm / 15–18.5”
Due to the significant stretch of the lace and the adjustable construction, the set is best suited to approximately a US 6, though measurements should be used as the primary fit reference.
Condition: Excellent overall vintage condition. There are a couple of missing crystals and some oxidation to the metal hardware, visible upon close inspection. The ombré coloration of the silicone straps is also a result of vintage color transfer and is retained as part of the item’s character.
An exceptionally rare surviving Dior lingerie piece from the Galliano era, particularly striking when paired with the matching red leather skirt.
