An exceptionally rare sample pair of open-toe lace-up platform heels from Dior Spring 2003 Couture, one of the most fantastical and collectible collections in the Galliano era.
Constructed in brushed suede and jacquard, and tonal lacing, these shoes embody the extravagant craftsmanship and theatrical surrealism that defined early-2000s Dior Couture.
Seen on the runway styled with embroidered satin and fur details, these platforms represent Galliano’s fusion of 18th-century opulence and futuristic exaggeration.
- Size: EU 39 (fits true to size; can also be worn by EU 38–38.5 due to the open heel and toe)
- Heel height: 18 cm (7 inches), platform 6 cm (2.4 inches)
- Condition: Fair vintage condition with visible wear consistent with age and use. Please review all photos carefully.
- Notes: The heel is slightly unstable, as with most runway samples, but the pair remains a museum-grade collectible suitable for archival display, editorials, or exhibition use.
A historic and sculptural piece of fashion history — an authentic relic from the golden age of Galliano’s Dior.
